Movement:This baby has a mechanical hand wind movement,a full wind will last about 40 hrs.The second hand moves very smoothly with a nice"ticking" sound.This has alarm fuction & the best thing is....the alarm is loud!So you can really wake up in the morning.It last about 26 seconds when fully wind.I owned a IWC automatic alarm,B&M,Capeland GMT alarm & Poljot aviator alarm but this is the best!!!And it does not matter whether it left on the table or wore on the wrist it is still loud.It also vibrates a little when it sounds.I minus 3 points because of the tight winding crown,it does not have date fuction & the alarm is off by 2 minutes.
Case, Crystal and CrownThe caseing is 33mm it comes well polished in stainless steel,well done no sharp edges.Round in shape,it has 2 crowns one at the 2 o'clock position(for activating & de-activating the alarm)& one at the 3 o'clock position(for winding the alarm & the watch.Sapphire crystal,50 M water resistant.My IWC automatic alarm is only 30 M WR,& I paid a bomb for it.There is one thing to take note the crown for winding the watch at the 3 o'clock position is quite tight,so it is not a good feeling to wind this baby.However,it has a nice cool classic look & very eye catching.1 points off because the crystal has no antireflection coatings.
Dial and HandsThe dial is made of copper,it has a nice bronze colour. Luminous hands ,luminous reading.If you like old watches design you will like this baby !
AccuracyA bit fast after running for a week or so.
Strap, Buckle or BraceletWell polished stainless steel bracelet ,nice but easily scratched.
It takes awhile to learn who to set time & the alarm fuction but you dun need a PHD to do it !
ComfortVery comfortable.Not too light,not too heavy just nice for a dress watch.
Value : Extremly good deal !!!Cricket was worn by a few US presidents! And REVUE THOMMEN is around since 1853 so 10 out of 10.

Movement:Watchmaking legend Gerald Genta has been creating timepieces for more than 30 years.It was just about 10 years ago that GG launched the Retro collection.The breath taking series uses a technical innovation comprises of jumping hours & retrograde minutes.The series was a immediate success!Giving GG further international recognition. The Retro sport line was launched about 7 year plus back having a more modern & dynamic character.This new range of watches basically uses the CAL.GA3(ETA 2892),armed with 27 jewels having a power reserve of 40 hrs.
Case, Crystal and Crown38 mm steel fluted case beautifully crafted!Back secured with 6 screws,water resistance to 30 m,11mm in thickness. Convex sapphire crystal is set into a rubber bezel.Screw down crown.Superb workmanship!You have got to take a look at this!
Dial and Hands:GG being a master of details & material focused on both for the new creation!The dial is crafted of carbon fiber & the watch dial features luminescent hour & minute numberals.The watch indicates the hour in an aperture at 12.00 &on the lower half of the watch dial,from 3.00 to 9.00,the minutes are indicated via a minute hand that jumps back from 60 to 0 instantaneously.A red tipped gunmetal gray hand indicates the seconds on an outer dial.
